The day after Taylor's party Taylor, Amanda, Heather, and I headed to Seattle,
Washington to spend New Year's Eve.
We stayed with Taylor's sister Mikelle and husband Mark.
We had a blast..
My first view of the city as we drove toward Mikelle's house.

Here is where fresh water meets salt water.
What happens is there are two different levels of water. The fresh water is higher than the salt water. A boat taxis into this small canal area and the gates close behind it. All of a sudden the water lowers to the level of the salt water. When the boat meets the salt water level another gate infront of it opens and let's it out into the Pacific Ocean...Clever isn't it..
AHHH.. the Seattle Space Needle!!
